Family Accommodation Victoria – School Holiday Activities

September school holidays are almost upon us.  If you are looking for school holiday activities then look no further than the Mornington Peninsula for a fun filled stretch of land that has everything you need to entertain the kids – rain or shine!

Family Accommodation in Victoria that can accommodate large or small families or families with or without pets is sometimes difficult to find.  Renting a classic beach cottage or luxury holiday home is the answer.  We have a broad cross section of family accommodation to choose from for every budget.  Need a pool? Need a trampoline? Tennis Court? Billiard Table? Foxtel? Wii? Free wifi? Got it.

So now that your family accommodation is sorted what is there to do when you get down to the Mornington Peninsula this school holidays.

Enchanted Maze Garden – kids just love this place.  Spend the entire day…take a picnic or eat in the cafe.  There is so much to do…both you and the kids will be exhausted.

Rip Charters – are running cruises to the Tall Ships at 3pm on Saturday 14th September and 8am Sunday 15th September – a little early for school holidays unless you are taking your kids out of school early?  Now who would do that??

Point Nepean and Mornington Peninsula National Parks – Junior Ranger School Holiday Program –

From bugs to bones and marine critters to nature art – kids between 6 to 12 years old can discover the peninsula’s protected wild and special places through Parks Victoria’s Junior Ranger program.

The FREE program offers four very different activities this September at Point Nepean National Park, Coolart Homestead and Wetlands and Mushroom Reef Marine Sanctuary and London Bridge in the Mornington Peninsula National Park.

‘A Bugs Life’ is a gumboots and all program encouraging kids to learn about waterway critters and their habitats, and how they contribute to the eco-system.  While ‘Outside Inside eewwww!’ has junior rangers super-sleuthing the identities of bones, fur and even poo!
