Fingal Picnic Area

Enjoy a picnic in the peaceful Fingal Picnic Area located two kilometres north of Cape Schanck. Facilities at the site include electric barbecues, toilets, tables and a ball games area.
Walking tracks lead to nearby lookouts with spectacular views of basalt cliffs and Fingal Beach which is exposed at low tide. The return walk (3km) and access to the beach is via a steep staircase which may not be suitable for visitors with low mobility. A longer walk to the northern Gunnamatta Beach (5km) is also available from the Fingal Picnic Area.

Arthur's Seat

Seawinds Gardens is located a short stroll from the Arthurs Seat Summit region. The combination of indigenous and exotic formal gardens and William Ricketts sculpture collection make these gardens a popular destination.

Seawinds Gardens encompasses a 34 hectare area at the Summit of Arthurs Seat, 305 metres above sea level. The gardens offer spectacular views of Port Phillip and the Mornington and Bellarine Peninsula’s from the lookouts.

A network of walking tracks guide visitors through a diverse range of exotic and indigenous gardens. The gardens are popular for picnics with tables, electric barbecues and toilets available. Disabled access is available to facilities and walking tracks.

Sorrento Park

If you are looking for breathtaking views over the Port Phillip coastline, grassy hills to roll down or lay your blanket on, then this is the place for you. Sorrento Park features a wooden adventure playground, BBQs, tables (shaded and unshaded) and toilets. Plus you have that view for your after-picnic stroll.
