Polperro
150 Red Hill Rd, Red Hill, VIC, 3937
Polperro is nestled among the vines and shaded by ancient Angophora trees on a stunning 25 acre property in the heart of the famous wine region Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula.
Our aim is to create a synergy between the vineyard and kitchen, and incorporate the seasonal harvests from the estate into the constantly evolving restaurant plates. We are committed to an ethos that promotes a relationship between the landscape, the people and the produce. Our approach will be to offer fresh, textural & seasonal flavours with an emphasis on where the food comes from and how it is grown. A collaboration between winemaker and chef ensures a new generation of food & wine offerings.

Foxeys Hangout
795 White Hill Road, Red Hill, Vic, 3937
After two decades of owning and running popular and award-winning Melbourne hospitaity businesses, brothers Michael and Tony Lee turned their years of love and knowledge of fine wines into a livelihood on Victoria’s beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
The brothers planted their first vineyard in 1997, at Merricks North near the iconic Peninsula road junction named Foxeys Hangout, from which our label takes its name.

Jackaloup – The Rare Hare
166 Balnarring Road, Merricks North VIC 3926
A food and wine affair, with a devil-may-care air.
With room for 90 tails, Rare Hare boasts indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the vine-laced hills and across to Jackalope Hotel’s striking silhouette.
A hand-crafted wood-fired oven takes pride of place in the dining space, adding character to the mood and food. We cook with a good sense of curiosity and bring a tempting balance of heat, acidity, depth of flavour and texture to each plate.

Yabby Lake
86 – 112 Tuerong Road, Tuerong Victoria 3915
The light and welcoming cellar door space is the perfect spot for a convivial family lunch and features high recycled timber beams framing large expanses of glass that showcase the spectacular setting. A slick new tasting bar creates an intimate space for tasting at the end of the dining room. The warmth of the recycled timbers is complemented by industrial-style steel fixtures, polished concrete floors and a striking central fireplace.
An outdoor deck takes in the stunning views of the vineyard and beyond. The wine and food experience is complemented by an engaging collection of artworks – inside and out.

Originally named after Tropp’s grandmother, the Elsie’s Indian BBQ menu includes an array of Indian cult classics including Dehli- style tandoori chicken made over the wood fire, South Indian masala dosa and of course, Mischa’s famous “Chips and Curry – beer battered fries with English “curry” sauce.

We love this becauseā¦

We love the quiet spot high up looking over Port Phillip Bay where we can put our feet up on the outdoor lounge. Its the perfect spot to open a bottle of wine and some nibbles and watch the ships travel through Port Phillip Bay in the distance.
In winter the log fire is the perfect spot for our four-legged friend to lie flat out on the rug after a long days walk on the beach. And iin summer we find this the perfect escape especially as each room has air conditioning so we never swelter on those hot nights. Details
