Definitely food for the soul.
Walk to Bushrangers Bay
Time to walk off that Brekkie! There is no better way to relax than take in huge deep breaths of fresh air. The Peninsula has SO many gorgeous walks to enjoy and one of our favourites is the walk to Bushrangers Bay. This walk takes around 2 hours and has some of the best coastal scenery near Melbourne. Not only is this a stunning sandy surrounded by basalt cliffs, but if you walk up this track as the sun is starting to go down you are guaranteed to see Kangaroos as they all move from the low ground up to the high paddocks to graze before nightfall. They may even jump straight across the path in front of you! This is a truly magical place as the sun is getting lower, we have seen echidna, kangaroo and foxes on the beach all at the same time. Take a drive into Flinders for an endless choice of cafes and restaurants. Flinders Village is a beautiful and historic coastal village overlooking Western Port and Bass Strait. Shop up a storm in the antique stores and crafty corners or sample some gourmet dining at local restaurants and cafes. Pier Provedore is one of our favourites. Check out this review from Good Food.

Brekkie at a local cafe
After a leisurely lie-in, go for wonderful coffee and brekkie, or brunch, at one of the many of the wonderful local cafes. We would be happy to recommend our favourite cafes nearby. Here are a couple for now…
Everyone likes to be in on a secret and that’s exactly what Hunter Cafe & Store wants to be. The locals of St Andrews Beach and the back of Rye probably hope it stays that way because if word gets out there’ll be lines out the door in no time. Hunter is also the first totally vegan cruelty-free cafe in Rye.
On the same parade of shops is the wonderful Store 360. Fantastic for your morning coffee, fresh bread and lots of other goodies.
Stand-up Paddle boarding
For those wanting to have fun doing something new, we can arrange Stand Up Paddle Boarding for your group. No experience needed and all sessions are tutored by qualified instructors to cater to your needs.
