If your mouth isn’t watering, mine certainly is typing this! If you can still move, it’s time to get on the course.

Ladies who lunch at TGallant

Saturday lunch

You really will be spoiled for choice with where to go for lunch. Choose to dine at any of the stunning winery cellar doors, local restaurants, and cafes. One weekend will never be enough! We feel lunch at a winery is a must and T’Gallant is one of our favourites.

“T’Gallant winery is nestled in the rolling hills and undulating valleys of Main Ridge where many a great grape is birthed; a Saturday afternoon wine tasting, out on the outdoor drinking patio, live music, big umbrella heaters with a bunch of good friends and long pizza boards watching the sunset over vast grape plains is my idea of FUN.” This review about T’Gallant winery really does say it all. Can we come too?!!

Shopping in Sorrento on a golfing weekend

Saturday Afternoon – Shopping

Any breakaway is not complete without shopping and a trip to Sorrento will certainly not disappoint. Stroll along the high street and discover quaint interior styling boutiques, antique stores, clothing boutiques, and art galleries which are in abundance. Throughout the Summer there are also some wonderful local craft and makers markets. Of course, Sorrento is not the only destination for great shopping. There is no shortage of boutiques and gift shops scattered throughout the Peninsula.

In-house beauty and massage treatments

Let us book in in-house massages or beauty treatments during your stay or perhaps you would prefer to jump the queue at the Peninsula Hot Springs? No problem!

Sunday morning

Brekkie at a local cafe

Either start Sunday early with a second round or take in brekkie at many of the wonderful local cafes or vice versa! We would be happy to recommend our favourite cafes nearby. Here are a couple for now…

Everyone likes to be in on a secret and that’s exactly what Hunter Cafe & Store wants to be. The locals of St Andrews Beach and the back of Rye probably hope it stays that way because if word gets out there’ll be lines out the door in no time. Hunter is also the first totally vegan cruelty-free cafe in Rye.

Merricks General Wine Store is always a favourite place to stop on the Peninsula…perhaps on the way back home. Enjoy fine wine, food, art and produce at this much loved general store inspired by the rustic charm of farm life.
