Cottage, Arthurs Seat
watch the ocean in the distance
we love this because..
We love the quiet spot high up looking over Port Phillip Bay where we can put our feet up on the outdoor lounge. Its the perfect spot to open a bottle of wine and some nibbles and watch the ships travel through Port Phillip Bay in the distance.
In winter the log fire is the perfect spot for our four-legged friend to lie flat out on the rug after a long days walk on the beach. And iin summer we find this the perfect escape especially as each room has air conditioning so we never swelter on those hot nights.
We leave our pooch in the rear garden or snuggled up in the laundry when we go out to explore the hinterland. The Eagle at the top of Arthurs Seat has stunning views, our camera is never out of our hand. When entertaining the kids we take a picnic to Seawinds gardens. In summer they hold the Barefoot Cinema here so you can make a night of it. The kids always want to visit the Enchanted Adventure Garden. Kids or not we always pick up our coffee at Nordie Cafe in Red Hill and everyone loves Red Gum BBQ for dinner.

What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside.
Yay! an enclosed courtyard garden and deck with fences to keep me safe. Love the trees and bushes, there are lots of interesting smells. Are those possums in the trees?
And there’s a special basket just for me. No way! What’s in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

'A great place to stay, away from The bustle of the Main Street, But still close enough to the action. House had everything you would need for a summer vacay. Front balcony was lovely to see on in an evening with a wine enjoying the view.'

“Terrific location close to the Red Hill shopping hub and wineries, cute little house with great views and handy dog friendly spaces. Would definitely stay again on a weekend getaway. Thanks! “

It was safe and secure for dogs, not too close to. neighnours, sea view, country atmosphere and my partner fed a kookaburra and a magpie on the front porch railing, we don’t see that in the suburbs - very Australiana
