Discover Nature at St Andrews Beach

we love this because..

It is understated luxury accommodation tucked away at the end of St Andrews Beach.  This is a wonderfully quiet beach house where we find quiet and seclusion from our busy world.  It has the most marvelous vistas of the surrounding golf course and glimpses of Cape Schanck.

Upstairs is our favourite spot.  In winter we curl up in front of the fire.  But in summer reading on the deck and entertaining with friends and family makes up our beach days.  Our children are always entertained in their own space with table tennis competitions and a place to lounge with friends.

It’s only a short distance to St Andrews Ocean Beach.  The sweeping views along the rugged coast inspire us to surrender from the busyness of life.

Even with the dramatic roaring ocean, there is a stillness to this area that really recharges your batteries.  Our daily walks take us through the curving sand dunes.  We can choose either direction towards Cape Schanck or back to the Rye Ocean Beach and watch the dramatic ocean crash along the beach.  It’s not a beach for swimming but you can surf it!

For dinner or lunch, we head to St Andrew’s Beach Brewery and its busy vibe.  Book one of the old horse stables for your group and try a paddle of beer.  For coffee, we head to Hunter Cafe and Store in the small set of shops at Dundas Street an hours walk if we are feeling energetic or a 10-minute drive.

What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside.

I’m only a little chap so I can wander around in the courtyard safely but big WOOFERS would be able to climb the low fenced embankments but they can always sleep on the upper deck.

And there’s a special basket just for me. No way!  What’s in there?   Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM.  I LOVE THIS PLACE.
