hidden hideaway close to the beach

we love this because..

we are always looking for a cute little cottage/studio that we can get away to as a couple with our doggie in tow.

But we have also stayed here with two kids who slept on the sofa bed.  It’s the perfect spot as it is right on the beach.

We walk across the road to the white Sandy beaches of Capel Sound and spend all our summer days swimming and sunbaking.

If we are feeling energetic we take the Bay Trail walk in either direction and end up at either Rye or Rosebud.  In the summer the funfair is on to entertain the kids in one location and the circus in the other. Perfect.

Our favourite spot for coffee and breakfast is only a 7-minute walk away at The Kitchen and for something special we always choose Veraison Restaurant which is only a 5-minute walk.

At Capel Sound, you will find a host of cafes including Unica Cucina E Caffe which is our recommendation.

What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside.

Yay! a garden with tall fences to keep me safe.  I love walking to the beach where I can go swimming in the ocean with all the other doggies (but only at certain times of the year).

And there’s a special basket just for me. No way!  What’s in there?   Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM.  I LOVE THIS PLACE.
