hidden hideaway close to the beach
we love this because..
we are always looking for a cute little cottage/studio that we can get away to as a couple with our doggie in tow.
But we have also stayed here with two kids who slept on the sofa bed. It’s the perfect spot as it is right on the beach.
We walk across the road to the white Sandy beaches of Capel Sound and spend all our summer days swimming and sunbaking.
If we are feeling energetic we take the Bay Trail walk in either direction and end up at either Rye or Rosebud. In the summer the funfair is on to entertain the kids in one location and the circus in the other. Perfect.
Our favourite spot for coffee and breakfast is only a 7-minute walk away at The Kitchen and for something special we always choose Veraison Restaurant which is only a 5-minute walk.
At Capel Sound, you will find a host of cafes including Unica Cucina E Caffe which is our recommendation.

What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside.
Yay! a garden with tall fences to keep me safe. I love walking to the beach where I can go swimming in the ocean with all the other doggies (but only at certain times of the year).
The beach nearby is fine for me to walk on a lead but my hoomans take me to the many leash free beaches and parks in the area.
And there’s a special basket just for me. No way! What’s in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Very clean and cozy! It’s in a convenient spot close to some great cafes (walking) and a short drive to the supermarket. Great backyard space for the dog to play and beach just across the road.

Perfect beach getaway for couples with a beautiful, private and secure yard for pets and kids to play. Just a short walk to The Kitchen and across the road to the beach too - close enough to all the action, but tucked away down the drive for privacy and quiet.

My partner, our little dog and I stayed here for two nights for a weekend away. Great location, easy walking distance to the beach and to dinner. Fairly central if you're wanting to explore the rest of the Peninsula. And ideal for having Luna with us - the property is fully enclosed so we could safely leave her there while we went out for dinner.

We had the best weekend at Shoreline Hideaway! It’s a beautifully appointed place, a secure garden and just across from the beach and boat ramp. We loved being able to bring our dog and have a beach picnic, brunch at The Kitchen Cafe, and visiting the nearby dog friendly wineries! Would recommend!
