we love this because…
It is the perfect group accommodation location for our extended family, two cottages side by side hidden in the trees and so close to the beach.
In summer we simply walk the short distance to the beautiful beach with shallow blue water and white, white sand. It’s perfect for our kids to play safely all day long.
In winter we take walks along the beach when the sea takes on a wilder appearance and Paddington our four-legged friend is allowed to walk and run when we get down to Camerons Bight leash free dog beach.
There are two cottages which are perfect when we have a large group of family and friends as there is space and privacy for everyone.
The foreshore on this part of the Mornington Peninsula has the best beaches and we walk in either direction and take in the spectacular views of Port Phillip Bay along the Bay Trail.
Our favourite spots are the large lounge with its roller garage door in summer which we open up and live indoors and out and the second cottage has a lounge up in the treetops where we snuggle up with a book and a glass of wine in front of the gas fire in winter or sit sheltered on the deck. In summer the outdoor space with undercover dining is the perfect spot to sit and chat with friends and family.
Everyone loves the outdoor heated spa. It does only seat 4 at a time so for larger groups…get in line. We love to light the firepit in the garden and toast marshmallows at any time of the year.
When we are feeling energetic we head to the Blairgowrie Cafe only a 30-minute walk or we settle ourselves on the beach and swim in the shallow waters watching the yachts bob up and down.
At night we either head into Sorrento for a choice of restaurants or keep it local in Blairgowrie at the wonderful Panda for dinner and drinks.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE – Property is suitable for group accommodation, maximum of 11 adults plus additional children.
What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside.
Yay! I can smell the sea and there is a safe garden with high fences, some artificial grass and some real grass and places to sniff and wander. We can walk on the beach every day (depending on the time and season) and splash in the sea because its so close.
And there’s a special basket just for me. No way! What’s in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.
