we love this because…
Whitewood Cottage is such a cosy little cottage with a wonderful private heated spa. A place for incurable romantics to immerse themselves in the hot water spa. After a relaxing dip in the spa, we warm ourselves in front of the huge fire pit in the evening watching the stars in the night sky.
We love the landscaped garden with indigenous native plants that surrounds the central fire pit. Our whole family always makes use of the undercover area walled on one side with citrus trees with dining table, extra seating and bbq.
In the mornings we eat breakfast on the side deck attached to the house. We love that it is family friendly with games, toys, Foxtel and table tennis.
We love to walk to the end of the road and take the pathway to the Coastal Walking Track of the Point Nepean National Park and then come back in a loop passing Rye Ocean Beach and we watch the surfers mastering the waves. Walking the length of the beach we watch the waves crash against the shore and experience the reinvigorating power of the sea air, a relaxing and a reconnecting with nature.
For dinner or lunch, we head to St Andrew’s Beach Brewery and its busy vibe. Book one of the old horse stables for your group and try a paddle of beer. For coffee, we head to Hunter Cafe and Store in the small set of shops at Dundas Street a 2-minute walk away.

What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside.
Yay! a garden with tall fences to keep me safe. Love the trees and bushes, there are lots of interesting smells. Are those possums in the trees?
And there’s a special basket just for me. No way! What’s in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.
