Sorrento located at Latitude 38.3389° S, 144.7408° E is the most popular village on the Mornington Peninsula and this beautiful newly built four-bedroom beach house is perfect for families and groups.  Located within walking distance to Camerons Bight and Koonya Beach this property is perfectly located far enough away from the village of Sorrento to be secluded and quiet but close enough to take a leisurely walk into town.

Living Areas

Walkthrough the oversized front door into the main living area which is a large, bright and open-plan, comprising lounge, dining and kitchen with breakfast bar.

The whole space connects to an upper deck with sliding doors that slide from the corner to create an extension of the lounge room providing indoor-outdoor space of an additional outdoor lounge area and dining. The styling of the house takes its inspiration from an ocean liner with large tiled floors and reclining chairs centred around a large SMART TV and DVD for entertainment. This relaxed feel with nautical nods in the soft furnishings is the perfect spot for family gatherings. There is ducted heating and cooling systems throughout the house, keeping a perfect temperature winter and summer.

A timber dining table with high leather-backed chairs next to the kitchen has dining for 8 guests. 

The kitchen is modern and spacious with a walk-in pantry and is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm It includes is even a sandwich maker, blender and of course, the necessary coffee machine for your holiday caffeine hit (Its a Nespresso but bring along your own pods).  

At the front of the house is a smaller front deck with a couple of lounge chairs and an egg-shaped hanging chair.  These multiple decks means groups have many private spaces to spread out and create quiet areas and to capture the sun as it moves around the property.

The house is on two levels with a second lounge/games room downstairs, perfect for the kids to play on the foosball table or play the Wii or board games provided.  Down here too there are more sliding doors to another dining area outdoors and access to a lawned area and bbq.  This area would be great for kids or old parents as it has its own bathroom and a kitchenette.

Outdoor Living

The property is fully secure with an electronic gate and double garage. The front garden has some lawn area with steps up to the front door.  At the rear, there is a lawned area if the kids want to kick a footy and there is a BBQ plumbed into the gas at the rear of the property.  With the many decks on multiple levels, this house is perfect for groups or a couple of families summer or winter.

Parking

There is ample room for parking 3-4 cars behind an automatic gate door and there is a double garage available.

 

Please Note - this is self-catering accommodation the room is not serviced on a daily basis. However, all linen, towels, basic kitchen provisions and toiletries are supplied for your arrival.

Activities in the area

Sorrento is the most popular village on the Southern Mornington Peninsula with a historic centre focused on boutique shopping and wonderful cafes and restaurants.  The street stretches from the shallow waters of Port Phillip bay where you can catch the Ferry from Sorrento to Queenscliff . The Ferry takes you across the bay to the Bellarine Peninsula.  Take the ferry on foot as a day trip (it takes about 45 minutes and goes every hour) and visit the historic town of Queenscliff, there is every likelihood that you will catch sight of the resident dolphins or if you are lucky a Southern Right Whale.  At the other end of the street, you will find the ocean beach and famous rockpools where you can swim in summer months.

Ideal for families with kids with miles of sand and shallow wading waters. Great in summer and winter for windsurfing and walking the dog.
