Tucked away at the end of St Andrews Beach on over quarter of an acre of natural bush this wonderfully quiet beach house is a unique property where you will find the seclusion yet space to enjoy with your partner, family or a larger group of friends.

Within walking distance to the St Andrews Ocean Beach with its sweeping views from Arthurs Seat to Cape Schanck Lighthouse and back along the rugged coast this location is a place where you can surrender to the busyness of life and just find that space to relax.

Even with the dramatic roaring ocean, there is a stillness to this area that really recharges your batteries.  Walkthrough the curving sand dunes and watch the ocean crash along the beach.  Get back to and discover nature.

Then return to this lovely architect-designed beach house that is perfect in summer and winter.

Living areas

Ground Floor

When you walk into the lower living space with its timber floors throughout and craftsman polished solid plaster walls built from Hebel block,  the temperature is constant year-round holding the heat in winter and keeping it cool in Summer.

You enter via a full-width undercover outdoor entertaining space with lounge and dining creating the perfect indoor/outdoor feel.

Inside all rooms are enveloped by timber shutters giving it a hint of Provence. Choose to let some filtered light in or open the shutters right up-they bring a beautiful coastal element to the property.  With a cosy log fire, TV and coastal furniture its a restful space at any time of day.

This room also has a small dining area, bench dining and a mini kitchen, so if you decide to settle here you can cater without the need to go upstairs.  Perfect for groups who want their own spaces. 

Through the hallway with its reading nook and day bed, you will find another living/games room.  A space to play some table tennis, a board game or watch some TV.

First Floor

The first floor is where it is at! Walk up the stairs to the main living space which runs the full width of the house to capture the stunning views from any position. Decorated with coastal furniture there is a lounge with log fire and TV, dining and a wonderful extra large outdoor deck.

A lovely central kitchen has views from every angle with double sinks, double fridges and gas cooktops.

Outdoor Living

Lower Level

There are three outdoor areas close to the house.  A lounge and dining area undercover off the downstairs lounge and a rear courtyard that is secluded.  Unfortunately, at present neither of these spaces are fenced for pets.  

The native garden also has flourishing olive trees and all walking distance to the spectacular coastline to enjoy leisurely walks. 

Upper Level

The upper-level deck is vast and you could spend hours here with a drink in hand watching the golfers go through their swings on the St Andrews Beach Golf Course, or watch the weather patterns across from Arthurs Seat to Cape Schanck.  There is dining for eight and chairs to relax in.  The deck is the only outdoor secure area for pets.

Please Note - this is self-catering accommodation the room is not serviced on a daily basis. However, all linen, towels, basic kitchen provisions and toiletries are supplied for your arrival. However, logs are not provided for the fireplace but can be ordered as an add-on when booking.

Pet-Friendly

Please note that the property welcomes pets.  Pets are welcome inside. Please bring your own bedding and bowls.  Do not allow pets on furniture or beds.

Garden: there is a native garden but it is not fenced.

Fencing: the upper deck is the only secure area for pets.
