Wildlife

Metung is a rural area with clay soil.  The area is prone to spiders and ants, especially in the summer months.  Every attempt is made to minimize intrusions by these insects with regular pest control strategies.  Do not leave any food out or surfaces unwiped.  This will assist with any infestation.

Please be aware that you frequently see Echidnas and Wombats roaming the property.  If you have pets please ensure they do not interact with the wildlife and cause them any stress.
