Recently we were so excited that one of our properties, Barrawan in Rye, was featured in a Riparide story. This is when one of the guests staying takes beautiful photos of their stay and tells us all about what they got up to how they enjoyed their break away.
For those of us with fur babies, is it even a holiday if you can't take them along? This beautiful family included their border collie in the fun on their weekend away at Barrawan in Rye. They titled their weekend Woofing Good Waves and Wood Fires. If you'd like to hear the story of their dog-friendly escape follow the link below.

What Saskia thought of Barrawan...
'Arriving at Barrawarn Beach House to dog treats and a lush pup-friendly backyard, our border collie felt as welcomed as we did!
This beautiful home in the quiet streets of surf-side Rye is the ideal all-season getaway for a group of mates or families with older children. We loved the beautifully styled warm timber tones that met with bright and airy rooms.
After getting the open wood fire roaring we settled in to the space for our first evening where lots of laughter was had over a home-cooked lasagne at the gorgeous timber table. A very sunny first Saturday of Spring allowed us to hit the local beaches just a stone's throw from the house where we could run out the kid's energy on the sand and watch waves roll into the cliffs. At low tide, there's an incredible rock formation called the Dragon's Head and the closest beach to the house catches a superb sunset.
We hit some balls at the Trueman Golf Range for something a little different. The build-your-own wood-fired pizzas there have gotta be the best on the peninsula! What an unexpected yet enjoyable atmosphere it was amidst the sunshine, beers and tunes by the green, making for such a chilled-out place to spend an afternoon.
The Peninsula always feels the kind of place that will keep calling us to return again and again. Whether that's for the seemingly endless choice of beach spots to check out, or so many delightful food and wine offerings, it's such a choice location to come back to.'

This is Alfie enjoying the fire at Barrawan and he also loves this house because he can sleep inside!
Yay! a garden with tall fences to keep me safe. Love the trees and bushes, there are lots of interesting smells. Are those possums in the trees? The beach nearby is National Park and I can’t walk there even on a lead so my hoomans take me to the many leash free beaches and parks in the area.
And there’s a special basket just for me. No way! What’s in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.
